In one of the final broadcasts of “Encounters Live”, Tim and Trish, Matt and Tina give an emotional tribute to Mary Pascarella Downey. Mary was one of Tim’s mentors, and a true giant within the paranormal community. She was a gifted psychic… preferring to use the term “TimeWalker”. She was the host of the radio program, “The Rare And The Unusual”, which originally aired in the 1950′s. She taught classes at the New York Psychical Research Institute, and was a primary investigator along with Ed and Lorraine Warren in a haunting case which would later become know to millions as “The Amityville Horror”.
Mary was so affected by the Amityville case that she moved to Florida, and quietly stepped out of the public eye. Yet, she continued to work with hundreds of haunting victims, police and law enforcement officials and others affected by paranormal phenomenon.
