Encounters Live Archives Now Available!
“Encounters” originally began airing in 1994, and was one of the first internet streaming shows – ever. Over the years it evolved into shortwave, satellite and terrestrial, eventually reaching an audience estimated at 40,000 – 50,000 per episode. It became one of the most popular paranormal themed radio shows in the country, eventually reaching the time slot where it opened up for George Noory on Clear Channel WBZT in South Florida.
Each week hosts Tim and Trish Yancey, along with a variety of co-hosts (Jason Gowin, Matt and Tina Carreiro, Brian Harnois and others) discussed the realms of the paranormal with experts in the field, television and film celebrities, and eyewitness to paranormal phenomenon. In 2011 Tim abruptly ended the show, citing personal issues – and left the arena of talk radio.
